Open Content to write. The composer has three separate modes, Post, Comment and DM, because each has its own context and review path. This page covers posts and direct messages; comments have their own page, Comments and engagement.

Writing a draft

1

Choose a mode and a starting point

Pick Post or DM, give the draft a working title and write in your own words, or ask the agent to draft it for you from your Business Vault. AI drafting uses AI drafting credits; writing your own words does not.
2

Refine it

Edit the text directly, or ask the agent to change it, for example to make it shorter or warmer. The draft preview shows how it will look and is labeled Draft preview · not published.
3

Add context and files

Attach supporting sources and approved facts from your Vault, and files: PNG, JPEG or WebP images up to 10 MB, or PDFs up to 40 MB.
4

Save

Saving keeps a new version. History keeps every earlier version, and if someone else saved a newer one, Growth Link asks you to compare instead of overwriting their work. If a save fails, your unsaved words stay in the editor.
For a DM, choose the LinkedIn account it goes from and the saved recipient. A profile address alone is not enough to send a direct message; the recipient must be a saved contact the account can message.
Drafts can be written and saved without connecting LinkedIn. Any factual claim in a draft must be supported by an approved claim in your Vault before it can be approved. See Voice and proof points.

Review and approval

  1. Choose the LinkedIn account for the draft, then request review from any authorized reviewer, or approve it yourself if you are an owner, admin or reviewer.
  2. Approval covers this exact text and account. Editing the draft afterwards needs a new approval.
  3. Once approved, an owner, admin or operator can schedule it.
The Review queue (in the workspace menu) lists everything waiting for review across content and sequences, and opens each item where it lives.

The content calendar

The calendar shows your week with a Drafts tray of drafts that are not yet scheduled and an Approvals list of work waiting for review. Open a draft from the tray to finish it and choose a time. Choosing a time never approves it. Filter the publishing calendar by LinkedIn account and date range. Publication records keep queued, blocked, uncertain and confirmed publications separate. A post is shown as published only after LinkedIn confirms it; a queued post is not a published post.
Publishing to LinkedIn from Growth Link needs a paid plan, a connected account, and publishing switched on for your workspace. Until then you can still write, review, approve and plan your content.
