Nothing goes out without approval

  • Approval applies to an exact version: the exact text, the LinkedIn account it goes from and, for sequences, the exact audience. Any change needs a new approval.
  • Owners, admins and reviewers can approve. Operators can prepare work and send or schedule it once it is approved, but cannot approve it themselves.
  • AI only ever proposes drafts. It cannot approve, schedule or send anything.
  • Before each action is carried out, Growth Link checks again that the approval still holds, that the person doing it still has permission, that the account is healthy and that the recipient has not replied or opted out.

Replies stop follow-ups

When someone replies, their remaining queued follow-ups in that sequence stop, and the conversation goes to your Inbox. A reply never restarts a sequence. From a conversation you can also choose Pause automatic followups yourself.

Opt-outs, exclusions and the stop list

  • Record opt-out from an Inbox conversation when someone asks not to be contacted. Opt-outs stay suppressed: the person is not contacted again through Growth Link and is not re-enrolled automatically.
  • Exclude a person in Leads to keep them out of every sequence. This cannot be undone.
  • Company exclusions keep everyone at a named company out of outreach, including future imports.
  • Campaign checks skip anyone already in another sequence, anyone excluded and anyone on your stop list, and tell you how many people were skipped.
Do not work around a reply, opt-out or exclusion, for example by re-adding a suppressed person or contacting them another way through Growth Link. This is a breach of the Acceptable Use Policy.

Uncertain sends are reconciled, not retried

Sometimes Growth Link cannot tell whether a message or invitation actually reached LinkedIn, for example if a connection drops at the wrong moment. Growth Link marks it uncertain and checks the account’s history with the provider instead of trying again, so a person is never messaged twice by accident. Until it is resolved, it stays uncertain rather than being counted as sent.

Queued is not sent

Activity and reports keep queued, blocked, sent, failed and uncertain work separate. A queued action is not counted as sent until LinkedIn confirms it. See Activity and reporting.
