Every connected LinkedIn account works within a conservative safety profile. You do not need to configure anything to get it. No one can honestly promise that LinkedIn will never restrict an account, so Growth Link keeps volumes modest and pauses when LinkedIn pushes back.

Built-in limits

These limits apply to the account as a whole and are shared across every sequence that sends from it. On a free LinkedIn account, up to 5 invitations with a personal note can go out in any rolling 30 days, which matches LinkedIn’s own allowance. After that, invitations are sent without a note.

Working hours and spacing

  • By default, accounts send Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM in the workspace time zone. The workspace time zone starts as the workspace owner’s own time zone.
  • Actions are spaced out with random pauses of one to five minutes, so activity does not arrive in bursts.
  • Nothing sends outside working hours. Work that is due outside them waits for the next working window.

Warm-up for new accounts

A newly connected account starts at half of its daily limits and rises steadily to the full limits over 14 days. Accounts with fewer than 150 LinkedIn connections stay at half, because a small network can make invitations harder to deliver. Limits & hours shows when warm-up is active and which day the account is on.

Changing limits and hours

An owner or admin can lower limits and set working hours for each account:
  1. Open Settings → LinkedIn accounts.
  2. Choose Limits & hours next to the account.
  3. Enter lower values for invitations per day, invitations per rolling week, messages per day or profile views per day. Leave a field empty to keep the safe default.
  4. To change the schedule, tick Set working hours for this account and choose the time zone, working days, start and end.
  5. Choose Save limits.
You can lower limits but not raise them above the safe defaults. Higher limits are set by Entryway only for qualified accounts. Contact support@entryway.ai if you think your account qualifies.

When LinkedIn pushes back

If LinkedIn signals that the account has hit a limit or should slow down, Growth Link pauses that kind of action and shows the reason and the date it resumes, for example:
  • LinkedIn invitation limit reached
  • LinkedIn action limit reached
  • LinkedIn asked us to slow down
When the weekly invitation limit is reached, you see Weekly LinkedIn invite limit reached with the date invitations resume. If an account is disconnected or needs attention, sending from it stops until it is reconnected and deliberately resumed. Reconnecting never silently replays queued work. See LinkedIn accounts.

Your responsibilities

You remain responsible for your LinkedIn account and for following LinkedIn’s User Agreement and Professional Community Policies. Do not use several accounts or workspaces to get around limits. See the Acceptable Use Policy.
