# Insights

> See which topics you are known for and where the gaps are, how your posts are doing, and the style rules Entryway learned from your edits.

Open **Insights** in the sidebar. It has two tabs: **Authority map** and **Content performance**. The style rules Entryway learns from your edits live with your voice in the Vault, described [below](#learned-style-rules).

Insights never invent numbers. Counts come from your saved posts, and engagement numbers come only from LinkedIn, each with the time it was read.

## Authority Map

The Authority Map shows your pillar topics, how many of your posts cover each one and where the gaps are.

**Build the map.** Choose **Map my topics**. Entryway proposes four to seven pillar topics from your [Business Vault](/vault/overview) and your published or scheduled posts, and assigns each post to up to three topics. You need at least three published or scheduled posts, or a completed Vault (your business and audience). Building the map uses AI, so AI drafting must be available for your workspace.

**Read the statuses.** Each topic shows a plain count, such as **3 posts in the last 90 days** or **No posts yet**, and a status worked out from fixed rules, never by AI:

| Status | Means |
| - | - |
| **Strong** | 3 or more posts in the last 90 days, including one in the last 30 |
| **Growing** | Covered in the last 90 days, but by fewer than 3 posts or with none in the last 30 |
| **Gap** | Nothing published or scheduled on this topic in the last 90 days |

**Act on a topic.** Select a topic to see its subtopics and post ideas (**Ideas to close this gap** for a gap). Choose **Start a brief** to open a [brief](/content/briefs-and-sets) on that topic, or **Draft this** to send the idea to the post drafter. Nothing is drafted until you choose.

**Shape the map.** Owners, admins and operators can **Rename** a topic, **Merge** it into another, **Pin** it (kept on every refresh, up to four), delete it, or **Add a topic you want to own** (up to nine topics in all). Every change is saved as a new version of the map. When enough new posts are not yet on the map, Entryway suggests refreshing it.

## Content performance

**How your posts are doing** shows:

* **Top posts** with reactions, comments, reposts and impressions, each as of the time LinkedIn last reported it, and a trend.
* **Posting cadence**: posts a week over the last four weeks, a weekly goal you can set, and a streak of weeks that met it.
* **Follower growth**, read once a day per connected account. A change needs two readings.
* **Best day and time**, from your own posts only, once at least eight posts have engagement readings.
* **Formats** and **hook patterns** compared once each group has at least three posts with readings. Until then each says **Not enough posts yet**.

Each post also has an **Engagement** panel with its latest readings.

<Info>
Engagement and follower numbers are read only for posts published through Entryway (or your own
posts already read from LinkedIn) and only once post metrics collection is switched on for your
workspace. Until then this tab says so and shows
no numbers; posting cadence and your weekly goal still work.

## Learned style rules

Entryway compares the AI drafts it wrote with the versions you approved after editing, and suggests short style rules such as "Shorter openings" or "Never uses emojis".

Find them in **Vault → Voice & examples**, under **What Entryway learned from your edits**, for the voice you have selected (shared, your own or a sender's).

* After at least three similar corrections, choose **Review my edits** to have Entryway suggest rules (this uses AI). It also tells you when there are enough new edits to review.
* Suggested rules show **Suggested** and are not used until you turn them on. **Show the edits behind this** lists the edits each rule is based on.
* Turn a rule on or off, edit, pin (kept when suggestions refresh) or delete it, or **Add a rule yourself**. Changes apply from the next draft.
* Drafts list the rules applied to them.
* Rules shape tone and wording only. They can never change evidence, approvals, scheduling or sending.

Owners, admins and operators manage rules. The edits used for learning are kept for 30 days, and their text is cleared once it has been used.
